Spiced up Black Beans by Colleen Guenther

, I say, take a boring can of black beans and turn them into a can of enjoyment. What you need:

1 can of black beans
1 handful of cilantro
1/8 cup of red wine
1 clove garlic
Chili powder
Cumin
Black Pepper
Tapatio Sauce


Pour your can of black beans into a sauce pan, chop your cilantro and add it in. Add the wine and a minced garlic clove. Then, add a dash of chili powder and black pepper. Then add 2 pinches of cumin and a squirt or two of the Tapatio sauce. Boil, then simmer at a medium low heat for 10-15 minutes. Voila, a simple recipe to add excitement into your life!
