Holy Moly Aioli! I wanted to take a moment to focus on an amazing condiment line that I need to seriously buy stock in: Stonewall Kitchen's Habanero Mango Aioli. I would have never tried this due to the "mango" in it but I really could not taste it. It's tastes more like a uber delicious, spicy, with a teeny, tiny titch of sweet mustard that you can literally put on EVERYTHING! I add it to my veggie sammies and it makes them taste amazingly good. A must buy condiment in the house for sure. A lot of grocery stores in the Twin Cities carry the Stonewall Kitchen brand but I have only been able to locate this flavor at Byerly's so I would recommend going there to purchase it. It's a must buy, seriously!

How to make a Fantastic Flauta by Colleen Guenther
This post is more about the love of a product and a certain cooking technique as opposed to a full on recipe. First I wanted to give a review of the grocery product made by Fantastic. It's the Taco Filling.

This is a fantastic (don't mind the pun) vegetarian meatless option and extra tasty! I did add a tad of chili powder, cayenne and Mexican cilantro to the mix while cooking but it is certainly not necessary. Now, onto "How to Make a Flauta". I was not always sure what truly differentiated a flauta from a taquito but discovered that a flauta refers to a flour tortilla rolled up with filling inside and then deep-fried while a taquito refers to a corn tortilla, which is also rolled up, stuffed and similarly fried until it is also crisp. Who knew??? Now onto the simple recipe of the evening....
What you Need:
1 pack Fantastic Taco Filling
As many flour tortillas that you would like to eat
1 Roma tomato chopped
1 white onion chopped
1 chili or jalapeno minced or chopped depending on how you like your meal
1 handful of cilantro chopped
1 handful of lettuce chopped
1/4 cup Queso Fresco crumbled
Vegetable Oil
Salsa
Follow the directions to make your Fantastic Taco Filling on the back of the package. Meanwhile, wrap as many flour tortillas that you would like to serve in tinfoil and bake at 375 for 10 minutes to warm them up. Then, fill a saucepan with about 1/4 to 1/2 inch of vegetable oil and warm it up to a med to med-high temperature. Unsure when it's ready? Drop a tiny onion slice in there and make sure that it "sizzles" when it hits the oil. While the oil warms up and your taco filling is cooked and your flour tortillas are warmed up, take a flour tortilla, top with portions of the taco filling, tomatoes, white onion, jalapeno, cilantro and queso fresco. Roll all ingredients up in your tortilla, put a tooth pick in it to keep it rolled up and place in the frying pan. Fry roll on all sides until it's nice and brown on all sides (takes about 3 minutes overall). When done, take out of the oil and place on a paper towel to drain any excess oil. Then place on a plate and top with lettuce, salsa and anything else that makes you happy! Sour cream perhaps? Enjoy!
